EU Ban On Herbal Remedies
If you turn to page 12 you’ll find an article I wrote on the statute that begun implementation on 1 May.
What this means is that herbal remedies are going to be reduced from the shelves over the next 2-yrs and as I understand it … not mentioned in the article … large companies, such as the supermarkets will be selling similar sounding products but they will be ‘cut’ (crossed) with substances such as talcum powder and the percentage of actual natural remedy included in the tincture or tablet will be substantially reduced.
As you can imagine there is grave concern from the field of naturopathy and herbal medical practitioners, and we shall see where it leads to in the fullness of time. No doubt government ministers will get involved, because there is a large voice of concern coming from the public as well as those practitioners involved.
As well as the usual features in this edition, there is an article on using EFT (tapping) on dental fears and another on surgery.
Dr Anthony Sharkey
Dr Anthony Sharkey, in Northern Ireland tells how he uses EFT on patients at this General Practice. He thinks nothing of using these techniques with his open-minded and willing patients and as his reputation has grown, he’s attracted patients to him because he’s offering something different.
Megan Smith
Megan Smith talks about how she as a fully trained Pharmacist with extensive experience inside the NHS, having worked in general medicine, pediatric and psychiatric sectors she has a vast knowledge. She now works independently and c0mbines that knowledge with both META-Medicine and EFT.
