What has Xmas been like, have you been overwhelmingly busy with the festivities, did you get time off work and take the brakes off for once.
Did taking the brakes off in your career over the holidays, give you a moment to breath and be with your kids, physically, mentally and emotionally.
What did it feel like?
Did you love it?
Did you want to love it but still spent time fretting over what you could have been doing in your work hat?
Do you find it hard to do nothing?
Lots Of Spinning Plates
It’s common enough when you’re balancing all the balls.
Trying to please everyone.
Do everything.
Keep everyone happy.
But what about you?
What about your happiness?
Is it in there somewhere?
Are you making room for it?
Do you feel guilty when you’re not thinking about your career or your family?
Is it even allowed?
You know something…
It really is.
It’s not only allowed – it’s essential.
Easier Said Than Done
Okay, it is easier said than done.
But although making it happen isn’t always the easiest…
It’s needed to keep yourself grounded, sane and healthy.
That bit’s vital when it comes to spinning all the plates.
Otherwise where’s the playful, silly, humous bit ever going to fit?
Although I encourage you to delegate some of them, especially the ones that don’t fire you up.
Put fire in your belly.
Far be it from me, but are you need to allow yourself to feel you deserve it before it’ll happen. Where funnily no-one else is ever going to give you permission either.
Hard fact, but we both like facts.
And this one’s important.
You Are The Engine Room
You are the hub.
The beating heart.
The pulse.
The director.
The producer.
The wardrobe.
The casting director.
The writer of the stories.
The writer of their stories.
As the vital working part of all that you create, it’s essential that you set yourself free from time to time.
Because otherwise, you’ll become that pan that boils over, leaving a heap of sludge to clean up on the stove.
That as the engine room of the whole operation, where everyone relies on you, the pressure grows as you take on an incremental amount of responsibility.
That time and again – you take it on with a protest at first and then a – it’s not worth the bother – that sees you landed – yet again.
Will 2025 Be Your Year
So will 2025 be the year when you decide to sort it.
Decide to address it.
To take the necessary action.
That. Changes. It. Once. And. For. All.
So you can feel calmer, the family will be calmer, you’ll all be happier.
It’s just that when there’s that elephant in the room, well you know this one, so I’ll leave it there so we can talk about it when you’re ready.
I’d love to see that change for you and if I can help, I’m here.
This is just me nudging to remind you.
You already know what you’d like to chbe different.
It’s much easier to make things happen once you decide to pop the spot 🙂
Now it’s just about deciding when.
Over here, just drop me a line to explore.
