I started the training with Richard in 2010 and qualified as a META-Medicine Practitioner in 2011 and enjoy sharing the insights this wonderful add-on tool has to offer the medical field, as it gets right to the heart of what causes an issue and can work in harmony with alopathic medicine. I am now training on the META-Medicine Masters course.
Richard Flook continues to contribute greatly to META-Medicine which recognises how the emotional, social and environmental effects of stress contribute towards the disease process as a highly refined diagnostic tool. META-Medicine is the most excellent starting point tool I’ve discovered and by finding out what’s going on in the body and using MM’s very elegant model allows us to understand where the work needs to be done, which saves time for everyone, especially clients.
BOOK – Why Am I Sick – Richard Flook
Why Am I Sick – What’s REALLY wrong and how you can solve it using META-MedicineHave you ever asked yourself, “Why am I sick?” and found your doctor couldn’t tell you why?
This is because they don’t know the cause. Just look at any medical dictionary and you will see that for 99% of diseases, ‘The cause is not known’. The question is, how can you cure a disease if you don’t know the cause? In his book, Richard Flook explains how disease really works, showing you how the body has not made a mistake and that there are stressful events which cause diseases to occur.
He tackles the challenging questions of why cancers develop, how depression is caused by multiple shocks, how allergies start, why mass vaccination is not the answer and how our present way of treating disease is in desperate need of updating. This book is aimed at anyone interested in health. It will challenge your present belief system about disease and at the same time answer your questions as to ‘Why am I sick?’ and what you can do about it.
addictions : anger : anxiety : chronic disease : chronic pain : compulsions : manic depression : panic attacks : phobias : stress : unhelpful behaviours
Are any of the above affecting you right now, perhaps you’re concerned about a close friend or relative whose life is being impacted? Have you explored all the options the medical profession has to offer and feel you just have to settle for a life-time of living on mood, pain or disease controlling drugs.
I want to offer you a different approach that benefits from recent scientific findings that not only reveals how your particular condition came about but also how you can become free of it, and get on with living as ‘normal’ a life as everybody else. And if you like being different you can still have that too without the price you’re currently paying.
Let me introduce you to META-Medicine.
The META-Medicine (MM) model dovetails seamlessly into western medicine by using your diagnosis (even the inexplicable), and working side-by-side to find the solutions to what keeps showing up in your body or mind.
Are you someone who has experienced any of the following but wonder if you’ll ever get your life on track:
- A persistent emotional charge around something or someone?
- A range of mood swings?
- A chronic pain or disease?
- Anxieties around people, situations and life in general?
- An inexplicable condition that’s left you floundering for answers?
- An unwanted habit where you ‘run to for cover’ at every opportunity?
All of the above can he helped with META-Medicine (MM) because this model explains biologically how a specific event/s can affect the entire system with a particular set of physical, mental and/or emotional symptoms.
The Two Phases of Disease
There are 2-phases to disease which consist of a stress phase (sympathetic) and a healing phase (parasympathetic) but these had not been linked until quite recently. This provides the key to learning what’s stopping you from living a disease-free life.
Based on the three embryological germ layers MM shows how inter-connected the brain and body are. When something unexpected and dramatic happens where you feel isolated and unsure how to cope, it can have an affect on the body; mind; social; spiritual and/or environmental aspects with far-reaching consequences. By discovering the catalyst and following the advice given your body can become re-energised and healthy again.
The 2-phases of disease are broken into 9-stages:
- Good health
- Something happens that MM calls a ‘UDIN’
- Stress phase (interrupted sleep and eating patterns with cold extremities)
- The ‘reversal point’ is when something happens to relieve the UDIN
- Part A of the ‘healing phase’ is when the symptoms become evident (as in a cold) (the body is warm and wants to sleep more)
- The ‘healing crisis’ (HC) when the set of symptoms are at their height and in serious diseases is the dangerous stage (as in a heart attack)
- Part B of the healing phase is when the body is coming out of the HC and experiencing milder symptoms (the worst is over)
- Convalescence (the appetite for wholesome food returns)
- Normal service is resumed
But instead of completing the 9-steps we often find a condition stays in the body’s system because it gets triggered again by another (similar or an entirely different) UDIN (the latter indicates there is more than one UDIN impacting) and so keeps the condition running ’round in a loop’. This is diagnosed as a chronic condition.
Perhaps you’ve experienced this yourself or are close to someone who has?
If we work together we’ll uncover what, where, when, who and how the aspects occurred that are blocking you from feeling better.
How can it help you?
