When it gets right down to it, the way we eat has a major impact on a variety of deeply important areas connected to health and how we feel, such as:
- How your digestion works
- How your hormones function
- Develop stress-based illness
- Recurring mood swings
- Yo-yo eating habits
- Changing eating regimes
- Maintaining an exercise programme
So it’s vitally important to ensure you get into a regular eating pattern throughout the day to maintain blood sugar levels, which prevents energy highs and lows and mood change. It’s okay to the 80%:20% rule of healthy versus fun foods. So that instead of being all-or-nothing, you can relax into the slow-and-steady-wins-the-race mindset.
But what if you’re one of the growing numbers where your eating has got out-of-control. Are you someone who with all the best will (in the world) feels uncertain that you can ever get off the runaway-train that is weight-on-weight-off-weight-on-again. Your intentions are firm and steady until, something triggers you into previous patterns around food, or it’s just too hard to keep up.

It’s NOT you and it’s NOT your fault!
And it’s important that you know this important fact, so you can understand and accept it, in order to move forward into the body you desire, with greater energy levels and top-notch health.
However, if you’re not losing weight despite everything, then the reason is simple, but it lies outside of your conscious awareness so is more challenging to access, and for some it may seem far-fetched, but believe me when I say these techniques have the potential to set-you-free, as they have done for many others, myself included.

Why Does The Weight Stay Despite Your Efforts?
As the report mentioned above shows our habits are deep-rooted and designed to free up your time, so you don’t have to consider every task of everyday as though it was brand new, how time-consuming would that be?
But it means that outworn habits can hang around well past their sell-by-date, which is not so great, as you know!
Clients enjoy the insights and often can’t believe just how much their feelings around a past experience have changed into feelings of detachment as they increasingly gain command over previously associated feelings.
It’s commonly known as the Apex Syndrome where clients even talk down how much a particular aspect was holding them back. Of course it’s important for me to keep a record and remind them of how much on a scale of 0-10 something was plaguing them. And it’s a very good reminder to see just how far you’ve come!
What Are Your Eating Habits?
As already mentioned your eating habits are vitally important. It’s not about obsessing over ‘good’ versus ‘bad’ food choices every day, but more about the quality of food, how you eat it and being in control of your behaviour in relation to food, without those behaviours derailing some other area of your life.
You will know when those un-natural drivers are gone, because you will be relaxed around food, making choices that suit your body, instead of your emotions.
And that is true freedom!
