Someone who has an eating disorder is often the last one to know it as denial plays a big part and it can be tough to accept, especially when loved ones are trying to be heard if you’re not listening. It’s characteristically challenging with this condition.
By Eating Disorders we’re talking about any eating-related condition where you have a medical diagnosis, maybe you’re under a psychiatrist for treatment.
It’s a difficult area for sufferers who are weight-obsessed. If you want to read more about it because you have an inkling that you fall into this group then it can be helped through the Get Back Into Shape VIP Coaching service found here.
But the first step in helping someone, or yourself, is by recognizing and accepting the symptoms so that you start by getting on board with yourself, in order to begin breaking free of it.
