What Is Harmful Stress?
When it comes to stress, there isn’t a person in the western hemisphere who doesn’t relate to it’s impact in some form or other at some age or other.
What is stress and why do we need to be vigilant in separating the friendly stress, from the one that can result in all sorts of symptoms that find us at the dodgy end of a stethoscope, where few are drawn willingly.
How do you see your life in general? Is it an upward spiral or a downward spiral? If it feels downward spiraling then you’re in the right place, because believe it or not, your current situation is not your fault and one of the first things I want to say is … it’s okay to stop beating yourself up.
The Spiral Staircase Of Stress
Perhaps you’ve been dealing with mood swings, stress, anxiety or depression and in addition you may have developed poor coping strategies such as addictive behaviours, like turning to food, alcohol and other unwanted self-destructive acts that give a welcome release at the time, but ultimately leave you feeling worse. And maybe some of these aspects are impacting your personal relationships with partners, friends or family adding unwanted strain and fatigue into the mix.
As time marches on the pattern becomes more ingrained, a certain familiarity develops and for you it might be getting harder to imagine life being any different. But I’m here to say it can be, and because I’ve been there with my own issues, I’m more than qualified to show you how.
As a highly experienced META-Health Practitioner I want to share what I’ve learned and let you in on what’s been happening to you in the physiological sense within the brain, mind, and body that are doing their best, even though you may feel it and you are hopeless and helpless at times.

However this will turn into every-day stuff rather than the insurmountable challenges you’re faced with at the moment.
These tools aren’t a magic potion, a one-size-fits-all and voila all your problems are solved in-one-go. But they are quite magical in providing remarkable results in far less time than was previously thought possible.
Or maybe its going to be hard to discover there are solutions when you think you’ve heard it all before. But if you’re willing to stick around this is where the rubber really starts to hit the road …
Changing and breaking out of old patterns just happens to be at the core of Personal Development, you may just have a bit more work to do. And the promise is that as you start to feel lighter and brighter in yourself it will motivate you to want more.
Being unhappy happens for a physiological reason that we’ll go into another time, it and you can definitely be different, you just have to say that you’d like it to be so.
