Suffice to say exercise is good for you, in terms of flexibility, longevity, and circulation
But the exercise has to be something you LOVE otherwise it simply won’t deliver.
Food wise it’s important to STOP dieting, especially if you’ve been there a few times with little difference to show for it over time, i.e. you go back into wonky eating habits once you let go of a strict regime. In 2007 the UCLA research findings stated that:
for 75-78% of us dieting is the best way to put weight ON
I know you already know this but instead you need to make a commitment to long-term lifestyle changes in self-care which includes introducing more vitamins and minerals into your eating habits through:
More fresh vegetables, fruit, grains, salads, beans, lentils and pulses
Less animal products, saturated fats, high salt and sucrose/lactose sugar products
