Running a company throws up all sorts of headaches, where one of the biggest challenges is herding staff (getting them to deliver what you hired them for).
This is followed hot-on-the-heels with the impact that it has on you, your health, your relationships and your quality of life. And if you don't think there's a correlation think again, one thing you know already is:
it all begins with mindset
The success of your teams whether proactive or reactive stems from the mindset your employees are allowed to display in the workplace. You might have a ton of body-builders working for you who's one target is reaching the next sets of weights, the next race, the next torn muscle that rebuilds stronger only to be torn again and rebuilt.
But if at work they're confined to a let's call it narrower mindset that fails to see what lies behind the body-builders goal setting mentality, a highly transferable skill, then your company is missing a trick.
Transferable skills are brought into the workplace in the form of as many people as you employ. We're all different and we all have strengths and weaknesses.
Being more left-field about an employees strengths, regardless of how they were uncovered is worth exploring in order to get the best from them, a best that's often trained out of people at work in order to fit into a smaller box than really serves.
Giving employees room to take flight. leads them into taking more responsibility which yields far greater results, than saying:
