I want to share Lee Holden’s Qi Gong, and I’m going to show you how I came to be looking for Qi Gong.
I’ve always enjoyed some sort of movement or exercise, it was dancing back in the day, then I found Callanetics, the gym and Tai Chi.
But one day I met Yoga and fell in love, it was the nearest thing to dance I’d found, but unfortunately as I was starting out with it, I’d not realised just how strong the Iyengar yoga postures were, and I injured myself. I needed a gentler form, found a couple of great classes, which stopped and then my practice became more sporadic.
Looking for gentle YT back pain exercises
So I recently made the decision to take the gentle route back into Yoga, and having looked at many different Qi Gong teachers, I found Lee Holden a few weeks ago.
The pace, his voice, the clear video angles, and a peaceful setting means the routine flows smoothly from one form to the next.
It also minimises the awkwardness often found with exercise programmes, where an extended explanation becomes quite tiring after the first few watches.
If you’re looking for something nice and gentle, I highly recommend.
However, I was looking to buy it but the DVD only plays on Region 1-NTSC devices, which are incompatible with UK and European players, unless you’ve got a worldwide adapted one, in which case it’ll work.
I’m still looking for a workaround, but I’ll continue enjoying the 7-minutes in the meanwhile.
